Opera While Shopping

Am I the only low brow, white trash that listens to
this stuff? Anyone else have it on their iPod to listen
to while driving? It's calming and keeps me from
pulling my Glock out of the glove compartment
and taking out folks talking or texting on cell phones
while driving.


Several months ago at the central market in Valencia,

Spain, opera singers disguised as shopkeepers were

selling produce at the various stalls there. Suddenly,

Verdi's Il Travatore starts playing over the loudspeakers

and they burst into song.


None of the shoppers has a clue what's going on.
